Jeans have stood the test
of time and remain one of the most classic pieces of clothing to exist in the
world of fashion. Since the creation of jeans in the early 20th century they
have been found on everyone from construction workers to the seven figure CEO
at one time or another. From there, they have not only transcended class and
race, but they've also gone through all genders and even ages.
There is no excepting when
it comes to kids jeans. As a result of their durability, ease of care and long
term quality, kids jeans are a staple for many parents that need an affordable
option to fill their closets. Since they are made from cotton, a very
affordable and durable material, parents are able to wash them multiple times
and no see many signs of wear that enable them to last through the rough play
that kids experience daily.
Blue jeans are the most
common and classic style of kids jeans. Created in Italy and the south of
France, blue jeans were more widely referred to as denims, in reference to the
southern French town of Nimes. The iconic indigo shade was made popular by the
working class men who needed durable clothing to protect them from the endless
scrapes and dangers while toiling outdoors and around tools and equipment. In
what seems like no time at all popularity rose through the ranks becoming a
very versatile piece of clothing acceptable in formal or casual settings,
indoors or out or for traveling or relaxing at home. This was great news for
kids (and parents!) now that they could rely on a single pair of pants to be
acceptable in a range of situations and not have to worry about bringing many
changes.
Shortly after gaining
popularity, jeans could be found in a range of colors and styles. Although
these were the more outlandish in design, the versatility of kids jeans
eventually inspired designers to create as many designs as they could to
provide customers with a variety of styles. These days you are likely to find
kinds jeans in an array of shades, lengths, washes and thicknesses to fit in
with and style or season. As you would expect, lighter thinner materials are
reserved for warmer temperatures while darker thicker materials are better
suited for colder climates.
In short, kids jeans have
become a staple in many kids closets as it has become a more reliable article
of clothing for kids and parents alike. {Its ability to match with any style
and any choice in shirts has afforded it a title that many clothes have not
achieved: a classic}.
